A Note From the President 
 

The Board members of SCAMSS has learned that several hospitals across the state are limiting, restricting or have placed freezes for educational travel.
 
In an attempt to help the Board better plan for the annual spring meeting, please complete the brief survey below.  Thanks for your help!

REFUND POLICY:  All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.  Written cancellations received by SCAMSS 30 or more days prior to the first day of the meeting are eligible to receive a refund, less a processing fee of $15 per registration.  Cancellations received within 15-29 days prior to the first day of the meeting are not eligible for a refund, but money will be held on account up to 12 months for transfer to another meeting.  Cancellation within 14 days prior to the first day meeting and “no show” registrant are not eligible for a refund or transfer.

Thank you for accessing the South Carolina Association of Medical Staff Services (SCAMSS) website.  We trust that you will find the information here that you need.  SCAMSS is committed to providing educational and networking opportunities for Medical Staff Service professionals. The knowledge base of the membership is an excellent resource and we encourage you to join our association.
What Are We All About?
The association is made up of a myriad of Medical Staff Professionals from around the State of South Carolina. The common link that we all share is our interest in Medical Staff issues including credentialing, privileging, providing and assuring that our communities are equipped with quality healthcare professionals.  Our members review the most current information available on all state and federal regulations and other organizational standards including JC and NCQA.

The South Carolina Association of Medical Staff Services provides professionals around the State with a way to communicate about common problems, effective solutions, and innovative ways to deal with future issues. By meeting throughout the year, we discuss many of the upcoming 'hot topics' faced by Medical Staff Professionals today.
